Hi, I'm Jim Czarny. I have been selling mattresses for more than twelve years at a local Sleep Shop in Ogden, Utah. I have helped many shoppers select mattresses. I have had many very satisfied customers and some not so satisfied customers. What makes the difference? There are customers that take the time to research and understand their choices. They will lie on beds to make the right selection. Then there are customers that buy a mattress strictly on price. Usually within a few months these folks are not satisfied with their purchase.

Shopping locally is the best way to buy a comfortable bed. I have created a mattress guide based on my experience that will help direct you through the many choices and decisions you will have to make. There is no "universal sleep system" that is perfect for everyone! To make the right choice, you must take the time to lie on beds. You must know the different options there are now days. This guide is very specific to mattress types and categories. I will not recommend one brand over another. What I will do is explain the features and benefits of each category of mattresses. (Categories are InnerSpring mattresses vs. Foam mattresses vs. Air mattresses, etc...) I will also give general price points for each category.
