Think of shopping as a two step process:

1. Pick Mattress First
When selecting a mattress, you will want to select a foam style mattress, either latex or memory foam or a mattress with a combination of the two. I don't recommend an innerspring mattress because it simply will not hold up long term.

When shopping for yourself, take the time to try an adjustable sleep system. First lay on the bed for a couple of minutes, then with the remote, raise you head up about 4 to 6 inches. After that, elevate your feet up to about the same height. Try different positions! You will see amazing spectrum of sleeping comfort!

Mattress pricing is independent of the adjustable base price. In other words,think of it as making two separate purchases, a mattress and an adjustable base.

2. After choosing a mattress, you’ll have to decide on the size of your bed and whether to have a dual system or a single system. A dual system lets each sleep partner adjust their side to their own comfort level. This the more expensive option, because you are buying two adjustable bases with two remotes and two mattresses. The bases sit side by side and with bedding, looks like one bed. Sizes that always have 2 bases are King and California King. You may purchase a Queen Size as a dual system also.
