Duvet Bedding & Covers

Duvet Bedding: A duvet, pronounced "due-vay" is basically the same thing as a comforter. Duvets originated in Europe. They are a thick bed covering that would keep you warm without having to add more blankets. They were at that time filled with goose or duck down. Today, you can also get duvets filled with fiber but a true duvet is down filled. Duvet Covers are similar to a pillowcases, this is a large covering for a duvet or comforter to protect it from dirt and embellish your bedroom. Duvets or comforter need to be put inside the covers.

Great value, I love this duvet cover! It fits beautifully on the bed. I will be purchasing another for my guest bed. I recommend this duvet cover to anyone looking for great quality and a cover that doesn't look like a duvet cover.

Customer Review: Overall Rating:4 out of 5

By Chrissi98 from Chicago ~Dec 28, 2008 ~Euro Check Duvet Bedding Cover (QUEEN),

I first ordered the pink one, but when it arrived, it was hideous in color. I was expecting a light pastel pink but it ended up being a strong salmon/peachy pink which made me feel ill. I returned it and got the blue one instead and I adore it! It fit my overstuffed comforter perfectly (comforter = 90x98). The fabric does wrinkle so if you're expecting the pattern to pop, it's not going to. Overall, I was looking for a nice comfy duvet that would fit my comforter and I do not regret my purchase.

By Shelly0 from MD~ Aug 10, 2008 ~Happy with purchase.

This is a very nice duvet bedding. The pattern is soft and subtle and does not overwhelm the room. The blush color is pretty and matches the color shown. It is not as soft at I thought it would be; however, it does seem to soften with use. It took me a very long time to steam the wrinkles out after washing. The wrinkles do seem to loosen with use. Also, the duvet definitely does not shine like shown in the picture. I am fine with this, but if that is what you are expecting and want, you might be disappointed. It was very easy to slip a comforter inside the duvet.
