1. King Size Mattress (76 x 80 inches)
This is the most standard size for purchasing a king mattress. It is also known as an Eastern King. See A Guide for Mattress Buying Locally
2. California King Mattress: (72x84 inches)
This is a standard hardside waterbed size. This is also made in conventional Innerspring and Foam Mattresses. Many people think it is bigger than a regular king. Be careful buying Cal King size! In many parts of the country, it is hard to find bedding and bed frames (headboard, footboard and side rails).
3. Queen Mattress (60x80 inches)
This is the most commonly mattress size purchased.
4. Olympic Queen Mattress (66x80 inches)
Not commonly sold anymore. Hard to find bedding.
5. Cal Queen Mattress (60x84 inches)
This is a standard hardside waterbed size that require special sheets.
6. Full Size (54x75 inches)
Also known as a "standard" or "double" used to be most common 30 years ago. It is now a little harder to find (headboards /footboard bedframes). This is a common futon size.
7. Full Extra Long (54x80 inches)

8. Twin Mattress (38x75 inches)
9. Twin Extra Long (TXL) (38x80 inches)
Two twin extra long side by side equals a King Size Mattress. This is generally used with adjustable beds. Special sheets required. Adjustable Bed Systems
10. Super Single / Super Twin (48x84 inches)
This is the smallest waterbed size. Special sheets required.
